if you don't want to go far from the hotel, try the buttery, which is 400 ft away. walking to castle ashby was easy, as it took only 10 minutes. we really enjoyed the fact that we chose falcon. they actually had free wi fi.

Thanks, it was a VERY RELAXING stay on Monday and Tuesday nights -- half of my 4 night stay. The rooms are reasonably spacious with luxurious bathrooms. The employees are amiable and incredibly nice.

Cheap T.V. with poor reception on some channels. Room cold although heating improved this. Very shaded with trees and dark. More light would have been very nice.dated furntiure.

The hotel was known to us and it is in an idyllic village, very quiet whilst we were there and an all round pleasant experience. Our room was spotlessly clean and neat, excellent value for money.

Nice location and interesting old building
The rooms are fairly basic and the shower was rubbish, just a trickle really, when I complained the duty manager told me there was nothing he could do about it and said 'that's just the way it's always been' This hotel is por value for money.

The hotel suited our requirements for a family get together, as we were able to enjoy our meal and then retire to our room.
The only fault that I would mention is that there were only two members of staff available during the evening.
